Meet the Team

Name: Harinder Chahal

Accreditations: LLB Hons in Law & Bar Vocational Course

Role: Managing Director at Keywood Group Ltd

Experience: After graduating from Coventry University with an honours degree in Law, Harinder went onto to study as a Barrister at the BPP Law School in London where he successfully completed the Bar Vocational Course. Whilst carrying out an assignment at the High Court in London, Harinder took an interest in Insolvency and decided to take up post with a local firm advising on corporate recovery and rescue solutions.

Harinder has over 12 years’ experience in advising on all aspects of corporate insolvency and business restructuring. Having successfully founded Keywood Group Limited Harinder has advised hundreds of companies nationwide with successful corporate insolvency solutions.

Name: Laura Walshe

Accreditations: MIPA

Role: Licensed Insolvency Practitioner

Experience:

Laura is an Insolvency Practitioner licensed by the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA).

Laura has worked within the insolvency industry since 2010 for various firms of Insolvency Practitioners, dealing predominantly with Corporate and complex Personal Insolvency related matters.  Laura has managed varied assignments across various sectors such as construction, hospitality, medical services, media (radio broadcaster), retail and travel.

Laura passed her qualification as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2019 and joined Keywood Group from Grant Thornton in 2021. Laura is fully licensed and is able to take appointments as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, in relation to corporate and personal insolvencies.

Name: Harry Chahal

Accreditations: BA Hons in Business Management & Finance

Role: Corporate Business Manager

Experience: Harry started his career working for a multinational institution based in central London. As a former foreign exchange trader Harry has a vast amount of experience in dealing with corporate clients and can advise on all aspects of business management. Harry now heads up operations in the Birmingham office and is the vital link between clients and the team.

Experience:

Having worked in the Insolvency industry since 2007, Steph has gained a vast amount of experience throughout her career working for various firms of Insolvency Practitioners.

She has knowledge of both personal and corporate insolvency matters and over the past 4 years she has been honing her skills with more complex matters dealing predominantly with Directors of Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.

Steph has worked closely with Laura in the past assisting with Corporate Insolvency matters.

Name: Jasmine Kaur

Role: Administrator

Experience: Jasmine started her career working as a legal secretary before joining Keywood Group. Having completed her degree in business communication over 15 years ago Jasmine is able to work closely with clients and liaise effectively with the team alike. She has a vast amount of experience working within the insolvency industry and previously worked within our business development team here at Keywood Group.

Name: Maria Doggett

Accreditations: BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Criminology

Role: Administrator

Experience: Maria has worked with several high street banks including Barclays Bank and most recently within the financial crime department at TSB’s head office. In 2015 Maria was awarded a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology and Criminology and this was then followed up by Maria completing a post graduate certificate in Human Resource Management from The Open University. Maria has joined Keywood Group with a wealth of experience in financial crime and has an excellent grasp on analysis and investigations.
