Job Title: Project Manager (with Estimating Development Path)

Location: Orlando, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 annually + Benefits + Bonus Potential

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager with strong organizational and leadership skills who is also interested in expanding into project estimating responsibilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage active drywall projects while being mentored and developed into a dual role that includes estimating future work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, driven, and eager to grow their expertise in both project management and construction estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead drywall projects from planning to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to anticipate challenges and provide solutions.
• Support bid preparation by assisting in takeoffs, pricing, and proposal development.
• Track job costs, monitor progress, and provide regular project reports to leadership.
• Collaborate with senior estimators to gain hands-on experience in cost estimating.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, value engineering, and cost efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, drywall experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with estimating tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, STACK, or similar) a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and technical knowledge of drywall materials and installation methods.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 510/500, PMP, or related certifications are a plus.
