About the Role

The role involves overseeing daily operations of the Des Moines office and fabrication shop, ensuring smooth functioning and effective communication among teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Des Moines office and fabrication shop, including supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance.
• Manage calls, mail, scheduling, meetings, and basic HR tasks like onboarding and record maintenance.
• Assist the Office Manager with repairs, task distribution, and process improvements.
• Process AP invoices in TimberScan, verify accuracy, route for approvals, and resolve vendor payment issues.
• Provide administrative support, track schedules and updates, manage project deliveries, and prepare O&M binders.
• Maintain project records and assist pre-construction activities like bid gathering and cost tracking.
• Facilitate communication between office teams, field personnel, shop workers, and external stakeholders.
• Handle paperwork, organize fabrication drawings, track inventory, and manage shipping documentation.
• Assist shop workers with logs, reports, and coordinating material procurement.
• Coordinate safety days, manage shipping between offices, support administrative tasks, maintain confidentiality, and foster team collaboration.
