Maintenance Technician – New State-of-the-Art Bakery in Oak Creek, WI

As a Maintenance Technician , you’ll be a key player in keeping our high-speed production and packaging equipment running smoothly. You’ll work with a team of skilled professionals in an environment where safety, quality, and operational excellence are the top priorities.

DETAILS ABOUT THE 8H SHIFTS – NORTH PLANT

• 2nd shifts: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 40 hours per week
• 2nd Shift = $1.50/h (premium)
• 3rd Shift = $3.00/h (premium)

Salary: $39.00 - $42.00 per hour for the North plant 8h shift setting, + premium for the 2nd and 3rd options.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain Equipment Excellence : Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on high-speed production and packaging systems.
• Troubleshoot Like a Pro : Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, including robotic and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Collaborate for Success : Partner with production teams during equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Embrace Continuous Improvement : Participate in Kaizen events, support root cause failure analyses (RCFA), and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred)
• Proficiency in English both in written and oral communication
• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, including robotic and PLC – controlled equipment.
• Proficient with gears, pumps, motors, VFDs, and safety systems
• Knowledge of PLC diagnostic and basic ladder logic programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to perform root cause analyses, and commitment to driving efficiency and reliability.
• Familiarity with CMMS (EAM) software to schedule, track, and complete work orders.
• High school diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
