Position Summary Supports the maintenance, repairs, and inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Major Tasks And Responsibilities - Troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds propane and diesel forklift engines.
- Diagnoses failures and maintains all systems and parts associated with forklifts.
- Uses hydraulic jacks to gain access to the underside of the units for maintenance and repairs.
- Conducts regular inspections of forklifts to identify any issues.
- Performs routine maintenance on forklifts such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and battery maintenance.
- Monitor and manage parts inventory levels and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs.
Preferred Qualifications - High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of forklift experience.
- Possesses an ASE master mechanic certification.
Pay Rate: $34.25 - $39.50 per hour, based on experience
