Associate Director, Revenue Cycle Management (Back-End)

Base Salary: $110,000–$115,000 + significant performance-based bonus

Work Model: Primarily Remote | Occasional Travel to North Scottsdale, AZ | Executive Flexibility Required

We are partnering with a growing healthcare organization to identify a strategic and hands-on Associate Director of Revenue Cycle Management (Back-End) . This leader will own back-end RCM operations, manage a team of 11–12 professionals (with near-term growth planned), and play a critical role in driving cash performance, operational efficiency, and complex claim resolution.

This role is ideal for a seasoned RCM leader who thrives in complex environments, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and enjoys partnering closely with executive leadership.

What You’ll Lead

  • End-to-end back-end RCM operations, including complex, high-dollar claims
  • A growing team of RCM professionals, with direct people leadership
  • Appeals, denials, follow-ups, and escalated billing resolution
  • Performance metrics tied to cash performance and accuracy
  • Process improvement initiatives in response to payer and regulatory changes

Executive Impact

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the VP, front-end RCM leadership, and CEO
  • Influence revenue strategy and operational decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, and Finance
  • Take ownership of initiatives that directly impact revenue outcomes

  • Experience in ambulatory, emergency, or air medical environments a plus

Compensation & Incentives
